Function

This isolated barrier is designed for intrinsic safety applications. The device functions as a universal frequency converter that transforms digital input signals into proportional, freely adjustable 0/4 mA ... 20 mA analog output signals. It serves as both a switch amplifier and trip alarm system.

The switch outputs (2 relay outputs and 1 potential-free transistor output) offer flexible configuration options including trip value display (min/max alarm), serially switched output, pulse divider output, and error signal output.

Configuration is simplified through keypad controls or PACTware configuration software. Fault conditions are indicated by LEDs according to NAMUR NE44 standards, with a separate collective error message output for comprehensive monitoring.
