The MTLx544 intrinsic safety barrier provides fully-floating DC power supplies for energizing two conventional 2-wire or 3-wire 4/20mA or HART transmitters located in hazardous areas. The unit replicates the current in other circuits to drive two safe-area loads, ensuring reliable signal transmission between hazardous and safe zones.

MTLx544S variant functions as a current sink for safe-area connections instead of driving current into the load
