Function Description

The KCD2-SCD-1.SP provides complete galvanic isolation between field circuits and control circuits. The device repeats the input signal from a control system (PLC, DCS) to drive SMART I/P converters, electrical valves, and positioners located on the field side.

The 4...20 mA control signal from the control system is transferred via a DC/DC converter and repeated at the output terminals to power the field device
