A photoelectric sensor is a device based on the photoelectric effect and composed of photoelectric materials. It achieves control by converting changes in light intensity into changes in electrical signals. It first converts the measured changes into changes in optical signals, and then further converts the optical signals into electrical signals using optoelectronic components. Photoelectric sensors can be used in oil pump production lines

Oil pump production line
A photoelectric sensor is an electronic instrument or device used to detect and respond to fluctuations in quality, safety, and productivity characteristics. He can accurately determine the presence and location of components, fixtures, or tools, and can detect damage, wear, or breakage. It is widely used in industrial production, and the oil pump assembly production line mainly uses assembly as the main process, in which a large number of sensors are used as control means and methods. Below is a brief introduction to the specific application.
Photoelectric sensor recognition pump core barcode scanning pen
The pump core is the core component of the oil pump, and each pump core is printed with a barcode of the pump core model. To prevent the misuse of pump cores with similar appearance but different performance on the production line, before assembling the pump cores, the production equipment must automatically scan the barcode on the surface of the pump cores to confirm that the correct pump core model is assembled on the production line. Otherwise, the machine will not proceed to the next step.

When the barcode scanning pen equipped with a photoelectric sensor moves in the barcode area of the pump core, if it encounters a black line, the light from the light-emitting diode will be washed by the black line, and the photosensitive transistor will not receive the reflected light, showing high impedance and being in a cut-off state. When encountering a white gap, the light emitted by the light-emitting diode is reflected to the base of the photodiode, and the phototransistor generates a photocurrent and conducts. After the entire barcode is scanned, the phototransistor deforms the barcode into electrical pulse signals, which are amplified and shaped to form a pulse train. These signals are then processed by a computer to complete the recognition of barcode information.
Is the shape of the photoelectric sensor recognition element slotted
During the production of oil pumps, a component needs to be slotted. Installing a photoelectric detector between the conveyor belts that flow to the next step after slotting can 100% detect whether the components that need to be slotted in the previous process have been slotted, confirm whether the slotting process is effective, and whether the slotting is qualified. Rotating components, if light is detected, determine whether the component has no slot or incomplete slot.

Photoelectric sensors maintain the safety of oil pump production
During the production of oil pumps, a series of operations such as stamping are required, which can easily cause personal injury. In order to avoid operator misoperation and bodily injury, photosensitive alarms are installed in these processes. When there is no light, the silicon photovoltaic cell generates no voltage, and at this time, the silicon photovoltaic cell is equivalent to a resistor connected in series to the base circuit of the amplifier. When there is light, the silicon photovoltaic cell generates voltage, which, together with the voltage on R2, forms the base of the VT1 transistor. As a result, VT1 conducts, and VT2 and VT3 also conduct. Relay K works, and its electric shock is attracted, causing the buzzer to sound an alarm and the equipment to stop working, effectively preventing the occurrence of safety accidents.

Testing of oil pump core speed using photoelectric tachometer
Measuring pump core speed is an important product performance testing task that must be completed accurately and quickly. The following is the working circuit diagram of the photoelectric digital tachometer.
The tachometer circuit consists of a photoelectric sensing head, a trigger (IC1), a monostable timing circuit (IC2), and a meter head, and is used for detecting rotational speed.
